the second order consumer are the predators such as foxes bigger birds and etc.

You have explained your energy pyramid well. I would like to ask you now to do the Heineman CD activity and to answer Mr. T's questions. Here they are:
1. Can you work out why (and explain in your blog) there is a bigger area for the producers than the consumers?
2. Can you explain in the diagram you downloaded why the pyramid gets smaller as it gets closer to the top? What is happening to the energy?
We talked a little bit about this in the computer lab the other day as you were working on the pyramid for your project. If you are still not clear on things, please make sure you ask me about it as you work on your pyramid this week. I'll check in with you too.
